Endless Chocolate Bar tastes like plastic

by ally on January 14, 2010

bandai_mugen_chocolate-620x269

Despite that this Japanese toy is incredibly ridiculous, I can’t help but admit that I do actually like the sound a chocolate bar makes when you break it.  I have no idea why, I just do.  However, I can’t say that I like it so much that I’m just dying to own a miniature toy that gives me that sound and feeling time and time again.  The best part about breaking a piece off of a chocolate bar is getting to eat it directly afterwards.  With this you don’t exactly get that joy.  These will be released in Japan on January 30th.  They will cost $7 a piece.  Oddly they are marketing these towards men in their 20s.

Melty cellphones attracts no ants

by edwin on December 1, 2009

melty-phonesHow would you like your cellphone to resemble something that looks like a melted bar of chocolate? Well, the Japanese certainly aren’t complaining with the Melty Chocolate Phones from Japanese designer Q-Pot, where it will come in Melty Bitter (brown) and Melty Strawberry (pink) colors that feature a 3D effect chocolate case, chocolate themed menus and wallpapers, and packaging which would certainly tantalize your taste buds, looking similar to your favorite Belgian pralines. Good thing it has zero calorie content though, and you won’t need to worry about ants making their way to it. Feature-wise, this ain’t too shabby at all with an 8-megapixel camera, a 3″ display and a Japanese system TV tuner. There will only be 13,000 units available, so make haste!

The Double Slanket

by edwin on November 24, 2009

double-slanketThose who have been following gadget blogs for quite some time would have stumbled upon the Slanket – but this time round, we would classify the Slanket as something foolish since doesn’t really add that much value to everyday life any more than an ordinary blanket. The Double Slanket can only mean one thing – double the foolishness. Still, that has not stopped it from being manufactured, where you can choose from Chocolate Brown and Ruby Wine colors at £49.95 each. On the bright side, at least you get to save money on heaters this coming winter, although hugging someone else closely without a Double Slanket might be enough for some.

Pooping Penguin

by edwin on November 21, 2009

pooping-penguinThe Pooping Penguin is one daft looking toy that will definitely have you in stitches. This windup candy dispenser will let loose tasty pellets (use small chocolate bits for the full effect) from his butt, even when he walks! We’re sure kids will love him to bits due to the small presents dropped everywhere he goes. All you need to do is raise the head to insert the candy of your choice, replace the head, shake the penguin to settle its contents, wind him up and see the little critter go! The Pooping Penguin won’t stain your bank account with its $4.99 price point.

Executive Elite Marshmallow Blaster

by edwin on October 28, 2009

elite-marshmallow-blasterWe all know that we are not supposed to play with our food, but somehow with the Executive Elite Marshmallow Blaster, it ought to help you lose some calories from all those marshmallows dipped in hot chocolate as you run around the room like a giggling 5-year old, using office furniture as a sort of a shield from your adversaries. This $55 toy is a pump-action weapon that shoots marshmallows (what else?) up to a range of 40 feet, making sure that nobody would get hurt even if they were shot in the face from close range.

Chocolate Cigarette Case

by edwin on September 15, 2009

choco-caseChocolates and cigarettes are two very addictive substances for some, so here’s a way for you to merge both of them together – via the Chocolate Cigarette Case. This novelty silicone chocolate bar case is able to hold a standard sized 20-cigarette pack, preventing your precious smokes from being crushed or damaged. Best of all is, whenever you leave this out under the sun on your car’s dashboard, it won’t even melt! They retail for £7.99 each, but are sadly out of stock at the moment so you’ll just have to wait until it is replenished in due time.

Chocolate donut soap

by edwin on August 16, 2009

Time to ‘come clean’ on whether you’re dieting or not, but this Chocolate Donut Soap will definitely cause even the most iron willed dieter out there to waver but for a moment, as it looks good enough to eat while you’re busy working up a lather to keep your sweaty body nice and clean after a session at the gym. We’re pretty much guessing that some people would actually give this $4.50 soap a bit just out of curiosity, it nothing else.

The Chocolate Mouse

by ally on July 31, 2009

Here are more chocolate electronics for you to make it staying on a diet a little more difficult.  This one is a mouse in the shape of a chunk of chocolate.  It even has a bite taken out of it already.  It doesn’t exactly look all that ergonomic, but at least it’s in the shape of your favorite candy.  This wireless mouse takes a total of 2 different AAA batteries to stay up and running.  You can purchase it for £21.99 or about $36 from Lazybone UK.

The Soft Solar Chocolate Calculator

by ally on July 27, 2009

I’m not entirely sure why people are insistent upon making gadgets that look like chocolate bars, but here’s another one.  If you’re ever dying for a chocolate gadget, we seem to be building up a decent collection here on Foolish Gadgets.  This calculator is soft and flexible, plus it is solar powered.  It comes in three different flavors, strawberry, dark chocolate and coffee.  Frankly, none of those colors really look like they resemble the name all that well.  You can purchase one of your own for only $10 from Brando.

The Bite Chocolate Lighter

by ally on July 22, 2009

Now this is fine high quality craftsmanship, you’d never find this sitting next to the register at your local gas station like some novelty item.  No, this has a point to it, it creates a flame.  Why is it in the shape of a chocolate bar?  Well, to confuse people that might steal your lighter of course.  Alright, I haven’t the faintest idea why it’s shaped to look like chocolate.  You can pick it up from Brando though for $8 in either white or dark.
