Cockroaches are revolting creatures, and I really do not see how wiping them out is going to upset the balance of our ecosystem. Not only are they filthy, what other animals eat cockroaches as part of their daily diet, and not out of necessity? Somehow, these critters have survived for so many thousands of years, and from what we read, they can also go through a nuclear fallout as though it was a walk in the park. The Japanese have other ideas though, drawing inspiration from this six legged pest with a robotic USB cockroach that can be remote controlled, and it also glows in the dark. Good thing it does not fly, otherwise it would be a major screamer inducer at any social setting!

Well, Triumph has come up with a conceptual set of bras that are eye catching (not because they use beautiful models only) as they’re in the shape of fishbowls, not to mention featuring the sight of tiny goldfish swimming in them. These are not for sale though, as they were conjured as promotional demonstration models in order to reflect trends in Japanese society each year. This year points toward the “Super Cool Bra” that is based on the concept of keeping cool without the need to rely on electricity. The Avengers is proving to be this summer’s mightiest movie – having raked in more than $320 million in worldwide box office receipts ever since it was shown a couple of weeks ago. I myself have watched it twice, and to capitalize on the rage, here is a DIY project for young kids. You will require some paint, used ice cream sticks and a sense of artistic value in order to paint your favorite Avengers characters at the top of each stick, making it a bookmark in the process. Something tells me though, kids these days seem to read less and less, and rely more on an electronic bookmark than a physical one.
