I don’t know what is the world’s obsession with this mouthless feline who looks as pale as death, but somehow or rather, she seems to be hugely popular, especially so in Asia and among the fairer sex. If you want to make your other half happy with her favorite feline, then why not make her breakfast using this $39.99 Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker? The name itself says it all – you can grill Hello Kitty’s Face into every sandwich that you make. I suppose to make the cooking task all the more enjoyable, just pretend that you are actually pressing down the real Hello Kitty into the searing grill itself. OK, so the mouse was originally called so simply because it came with a wired tail that was connected to your computer. Well, that is fine and dandy, but with the advent of wireless technology, the ‘tail’ is no longer needed – so why the heck did Elecom of Japan roll out the Oppopet 3-button Wireless Mouse? Wait a minute here, this cute little mouse comes with a tail as well – although it is not as long as your regular mouse cable. The tail is detachable, where you plug it into your computer’s USB port for it to double up as a wireless receiver. Cool, huh? You can choose from different tail styles including a cat, fox, squirrel, dog, dolphin, chameleon, pig, and rabbit.

Spork is improved upon

You know what they say – don’t go around trying to fix what isn’t broken, and haven’t you realized already that it is pretty impossible to reinvent the wheel? Other things, however, like the spork is different. That particularly weird looking eating utensil does seem to have received a design update of sorts. Apparently, the original spork came from a Japanese spoon-fork combo that was created for the Sugakiya ramen noodle restaurant chain in the late 1970s. The whole idea behind that was to save money and wastage, since you get to slurp on your noodles and broth using a single utensil. To celebrate the chain’s 60th anniversary, it decided to update its signature ramen fork, resulting in this super spork of sorts. Is your appetite whet already?

Just before you say that Joyful Honda is what you would call a new set of wheels from Japan, think again. This is actually a machine that will deliver a nice, soapy bath to your four legged friend, never mind if it is feline or canine. Not, it doesn’t sound as cruel as it looks, but basically, what it does would be to wash and blow dry both dogs and cats. Currently installed at a pet supermarket in in the suburbs of Tokyo, this is the McDonalds of bathing your pet since it costs around $5 compared to the $30 charged for a full wash and blow-dry.

You know, when the Nintendo Wii was first released, the was this bunch of folks who touted it to be one of the first video games that can help you lose weight simply because you had to move around a whole lot.
