Bean Bag Sled

I guess it is a given that a sled is something hard and tough that you plant your rear end on and tackle death-defying slopes whenever the snow is thick enough to do so – unfortunately, so far all the sleds that I’ve come across do not look a tad comfortable. The $299.95 Bean Bag Sled is a rather zany idea, where this soft-riding sled will also boast of a tube-shaped bean bag. This translates to less bumps on your lower back, not to mention the sled’s interior boasting an inflatable air bladder (which will need the use of a hand pump, mind you) that is surrounded by thousands of 2mm polystyrene spheres. I wonder how Calvin would have contemplated his suicidal downhill ride if he had this instead of his wooden model…
