Usually my favorite ice cream flavors are pretty normal, the most strange I get is pumpkin ice cream (it’s surprisingly good).  I just don’t quite think I’m ready for Jalapeño Ice Cream Mix.  I typically prefer my ice cream to be sweet and not spicy, but if you want to give it a try you’re bound to at least get credit among your friends as being incredibly daring.  Somehow this one ranks up there with sky diving.  You can purchase the ice cream mix for $10 from the Tabasco Country Store.

I recently visited the Tabasco plant and had a chance to tried the jalapeno ice cream. It tasted like green pepper ice cream with a little kick…weird but not among the ranks of sky diving. I think the company was going for sweet & savory but totally missed the mark.
