Retiree’s Day Clock

by edwin - on December 13th, 2009

day-clockMany of us look forward to the day when we can retire and spend the entire day indulging in our favorite hobbies, but that doesn’t mean we ought to throw caution to the wind and spend time frivolously thinking that there are still many years ahead, eh? If you know someone who has just retired or is about to step away from the madness of daily routine, the Retiree’s Day Clock sounds like the perfect gift if you’re looking at a $50 or less budget. This clock tells the time in numbers, but it also will be divided into seven equal pie-shaped sections, each labeled with a day of the week. Just to make sure you know what day of the week it is after going for uncountable rounds of golf, a red hand points toward the right day. With a solid oak frame, it requires a single AA battery to run for over two years. Incredible, huh?

Don’t the black hands point to numbers and tell the time?
