Taste of Talking Salt and Pepper Shakers

by edwin on July 23, 2009

We’ve seen our fair share of salt and pepper shakers in the past, and this time round here’s something different. It is moulded using an amalgamation of devices, including indicator covers from a Morris Mini, making them look as though they are traditional ear and mouth pieces from older home telephones – simply because they’re unused pieces taken from actual phones that no longer have a place in today’s society. Good thinking, too, since I wouldn’t want to pick up a spit-laden second-hand mouthpiece to add more flavor to my salt shaker. Do you think they are worth the $22 asking price? One thing’s for sure though – it helps make conversation at the dinner table easier if you’ve already run out of topics.
