Although I’m listing this as foolish due to the fact that it’s not really necessary, I love this shaker. It makes absolutely no sense and that’s the best part. Kitchen accessories and gadgets are entirely too straight forward. For the person that still needs a little humor even when they’re in the kitchen, this would be a great gift. It would even work great for a funny Mother’s Day gift. The Saltside Down shaker is made of handblown tempered borosilicate glass and it’s thankfully dishwasher safe.
