Wristband Mosquito Protection

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to the war against mosquitoes, nothing quite beats the combined use of a mosquito netting, a bug zapper, some cans of aerosol lying around in strategic places throughout your home, a portable mosquito zapper (that looks like a small tennis racket), generous application of insect repellent and the foul smelling mosquito coil. If you think all those precautions are for the paranoid and put your faith in the $18.99 package of Wristband Mosquito Protection, then go ahead. Apparently, these adjustable wristbands will contain geraniol, a natural, plant-based essential oil that is touted to be over 400% more effective than citronella in repelling mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and many other insects. Each wristband is able to last up to 120 hours – we’re guessing this is the time period after being exposed to the air, which is why it comes with a resealable pack.
