YogaToes stretch and fix crooked toes

by ally - on March 1st, 2009

The things women will do in order to improve their looks never ceases to amaze me.  I’m by no means saying my beauty regimen is without some barbaric traits, but it’s always great looking at the new angles they put out there with beauty products.  Now there are these YogaToes with Mini Massagers.  It sounds innocent, they clip on to relieve stress and tension in your feet, so far so good.  However, to do that they spread apart your toes, stretch them out and straighten bent toes.  I don’t know about you, but even those little toe spreaders to paint your toenails seem uncomfortable to me.  Much less this which is meant to actually stretch your toes.  All that stretching and straightening will cost you $69.95.

Makes perfect sense to me. This writer must be a podiatrist. Maybe even invented pointed toe pump high heels – lol.
Now, if cramming your toes into Stiletto’s for years have gotten your toes into the crooked mess that they have become, it only makes sense that stretching the other direction (every night) would counter act some of the damage. Realistically, this is only going to work for people that haven’t become extremely deformed yet…
I have spent a fortune on foot surgery, orthodics ($400.00 a pop)and ortopedic shoes (one pair was $275.00 and they were butt ugly), None of these have done anything but line the golden pockets of a bunch of greedy podiatrists.
I have a Taylor’s Bunion on foot and a stump neuroma from a neuroma surgery gone awry and on the other foot I have a Morton’s neuroma. I have had three surgeons come up with three different surgeries to correct these problems, from shots of alcohol to kill the nerves to breaking bones and even cutting ligaments to give the Neuroma (benign tumor of the nerve) “more room” ! What!? I think I’ll invest the 69.95 and try to correct this one myself. Check back with me in two years and I’ll let ya know how it goes.

haha. Um…no….crooked toes are the worst thing that could have happened to me and it’s not because they scare away little kids. I have fibromyaglia which make the muscles on my entire body super super extremely tense. This led to plantar fascitis. I went out to buy comfy shoes with arches and the lady measured me wrong ( I’m wide not narrow) so from wearing tight shoes for years my toes bunched up inward. I never wore flips flops or open-aired shoes (since you can’t with the plantar fascitis) so I never noticed the change. So now I CAN’t even walk and everyday is torture. It’s been two years now and am desperate to find something to fix the problem because if I don’t exercise my fobromyalgia just gets worse. I got my fibro at 16 so I also miss going out with friends. If regaining my biomechanical ability = $70 I’m there to pay it up! …psssht…looks

Have you notice any improvement due to these toe stretchers yet?
