Watch lets you know of impending doom and gloom

In this day and age where superstitions still reign in many parts of the world, it is interesting to see some folks try to reconcile modern technology and supernatural mumbo-jumbo. Take Swiss watchmaker Borgeaud for instance – these folks have partnered with Indian fortune tellers to develop a watch that is supposed to be able to predict the future, where its bedpan-shaped section on the watch will turn brown whenever something untoward is about to happen. Apparently, “the watch automatically displays a daily 90-minute period called the Raju Kaal, which is believed to be a terrible time to make important decisions or start new projects.” Once the Raju Kaal is over, the watch will revert to its normal color as dark astral forces have left the building. One thing’s for sure – they’re spot on in thinking that there are at least 650 suckers in this world who will part with $2,000 and above for each of these watches.
