This is taking the extreme route where blinging up a gizmo is concerned – the GemCam has its roots in the form of a new-in-box Ultronic camera, but it has been studded with a whole lot of acrylic gemstones. Apart from the gaudy exterior, everything else within will remain the same, although we’re doubtful that it will fit into the original case the GemCam came in snugly. Each $38 purchase will also be accompanied by a strap and a manual to get you started. Guess this should be treated more as a piece of art if it is your cup of tea, although the cleaning lady might think of this as a toy and throw it away the next time she drops by.
