Now here’s one of the more pointless computer peripherals on sale, unless you’re getting it for a small kid, of course. The USB Optical Liquid Frog Mouse that comes with all the standard issue specifications required for a normal office mouse, including 800dpi resolution and USB connectivity. It works across most platforms, including Windows, Mac and Linux without any problem and comes with a see-through case where the floating decapitated head of a frog will smile at you all the time, moving about its miserable prison. Not a good thing to get for an adult as he/she could just throw this back at you for being such a cheapskate (it costs $18), causing the plastic case to crack and have the liquid create a mess all over in the process.
