A voice controlled helicopter? How cool is that? Sounds (no pun intended) pretty interesting at first, but when you think about it, does it really make much sense? After all, when the helicopter is really far away, how is it going to differentiate your voice from the many other screams and squeals of delight from other children at the local park? I know you’re supposed to speak into the headset, but public parks do have more than one person speaking simultaneously. Nice to know that Taiyo has included a manual override – you know, just in case you need to make a safe landing along the Hudson river. If you’re interested in one, it will hit Japan first before arriving across the globe later this year. There is no word on pricing.
