It does make us wonder why do people come up with pretty pointless gadgets and gizmos, but then again without those very same folks, we won’t be able to keep you entertained with stories each day. Here we have the Sound Accel Pedal from Japan that emits engine noise at three levels depending on just how lead-footed you are. It will retail for $30 a pop, and we think if you’re so hard up to listen to engine noises, why not download a whole lot of engine noise MP3s from the Internet and loop them on your iPod?
