The Endless Peeling Banana Toy

Some of the products that come from Japan have a tendency to be pointless and difficult for the rest of the world to understand.  Well here is another odd product straight from Japan to boggle your mind.  It’s the Endless Banana.  It was created because of a trend diet in Japan.  Apparently the morning banana diet has become a big deal there and they can barely keep bananas in stock at supermarkets.  So now there is a toy that simulates peeling a banana.  They even got a famous Japanese voice actress to make a peeling noise to go with the banana.  It also simulates the feeling of peeling a banana, although how, I have no idea.  I’m not sure why anyone would want to peel a banana for fun, but stranger things have been sold in Japan.
