Alright, so this isn’t entirely a gadget, but hear me out. It’s food based off of gaming and gaming you do on a gadget, so therefore definitely valid. I admit, when I’m in the middle of WoW and into a raid or even a regular dungeon I have on occasion forgotten to eat. That or I will resort to eating whatever is within arms length which isn’t always the best of ideas. However, the smart thing to do is to toss a bag of chips or peanuts on the desk so you have a mid-game snack, not go out and buy goofy food intended for gaming. They haven’t said a price yet, but you know it will cost way more than a bag of Doritos would. The snack has a few angles that they are trying to play up, first being that the snack isn’t greasy and won’t leave crumbs in your keyboard.
It is also playing up its ergonomic packaging, which is always oh so important when I’m looking for a snack to grab. It also claims this random bit of fluff. ”Gamer Grub is a great tasting snack that boosts your core gaming systems, such as visual input, cognitive processing, signal transmission and muscle reflexes for maximum gaming performance.” This won’t be sold until 2009, so until then I suppose we’re stuck with our mediocre snacks that tragically won’t be in ergonomic packaging.
