Blow Up Hanger

by edwin - on September 22nd, 2008

Who would’ve thought that something as ordinary as a hanger could come in a totally different form factor? The Blow Up Hanger says it all, where one requires some bit of huffing and puffing before it is ready to hold any clothes. Another plus point is you won’t need to fill up your wardrobe with hangers taking up unnecessary space when not in use, although blowing them up over and over again can be quite the hassle. You can pick up the Blow Up Hanger for approximately $10 each – hopefully no mischievous kids will end up puncturing these out of curiousity.

Actually, these items aren’t quite foolish. They’re very useful for the ultra-light traveler. When you leave the comfortable interstate hwy of major hotel chains and stay en pensions, B&B’s, and hostels, you can find yourself without coathangers. A couple of these can let the wrinkles fall out of your jacket before you go to that important meeting tomorrow.

This isn’t exactly a new invention. I distinctly remember that we had similar hangers at home way back in the seventies, although they were not transparent (and didn’t need usage instructions printed on them).

I think it’s rather foolish considering those metal hooks will probably puncture the inflatable plastic when packed away…
